First and foremost

Dominika specializes in providing comprehensive legal support in mergers and acquisitions, as well as in companies’ and capital groups’ restructuring at all stages of the process. She supervised several due diligence processes, in particular in the scope of contracts, corporate law, intellectual property law and personal data protection. She provided legal advice to, among others, a Polish listed company in the process of restructuring its debt and finding an external professional investor, to an international capital group in the acquisition of a Polish company operating in the production and services sector, to a Polish medical company in finding an international investor, as well as to an investment fund set up by an angel investor in its investments into Polish technology companies. She represents clients in disputes arising from M&A transactions, including those related to the breach of representations and warranties, price settlement, covering the costs of non-executed transactions and liability of advisors, as well as disputes arising from investments in investment funds. Dominika provides legal advice to IT start-ups. She is also experienced in providing ongoing advice within personal data protection, intellectual property, new technologies, as well as civil and commercial law.

Dominika studied at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków and for one year at the Faculty of Law of the University of Vienna as an exchange student. In 2020 she completed postgraduate studies in mergers and acquisitions at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH). She also completed a course in legal German and graduated from German Law School organized by the Jagiellonian University in cooperation with the Ruprecht Karl University of Heidelberg and the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. In 2015, she received the M.A. in law. In her comparative master’s thesis Dominika focused on the commercialization of scientific research results in Poland, for which she received an award of the Polish Minister of Science and Higher Education in the competition for the best scientific work on intellectual property organised by the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland. She is a member of Warsaw Bar Association. Her expertise in M&A transactions has been recognized in the 20th edition of the Rzeczpospolita Ranking of Law Firms, she received an individual recommendation in the Mergers and acquisitions category.
