Jakub works on court and arbitration proceedings of civil and commercial law. In Rö he works with international clients from the real estate and automotive sectors. Among others, he works on disputes concerning office space lease agreements and class-action proceedings against car engine manufacturers. His interests include European law, sport law and issues related to new technologies.
Jakub is a member of the board of the Ius et Sport Association for Sport Law. He has participated in international courses on arbitration and mediation. Jakub is a graduate of the European Law LL.M. programme at Leiden University in the Netherlands (he wrote a thesis about the EU control of concentration of online platforms) and the Faculty of Law and Administration of Warsaw University (he wrote a comparative thesis on liability of online services’ providers). He completed a course at the British Law Centre organised by Warsaw University in collaboration with Cambridge University. Jakub is taking a legal advisor’s apprenticeship training with the Regional Chamber of Legal Advisors in Warsaw. While studying, he gained experience in Polish and international law firms. Jakub has been with Rö since 2017.
