Dominika specializes in providing comprehensive legal support in mergers and acquisitions, as well as in companies’ and capital groups’ restructuring at all stages of the process, which covers planning the structure of the transaction, drafting and negotiating full legal documentation, as well as coordination of the whole process. She proceeded numerous due diligence proceedings, in particular in the scope of contracts, corporate law, intellectual property law and personal data protection. She provided legal advice to a Polish public company in the process of restructuring its debt and providing financing by an external professional investor, to an international capital group in the acquisition of a Polish company operating in the production and services sector, to a Polish company in finding an international investor, to a Polish capital group operating in the call center sector in finding an investor, as well as to an investment fund set up by an angel investor during its investments into Polish technology companies. Dominika also has vast experience in providing ongoing legal advice within personal data protection law, intellectual property law, TMT-law, as well as civil and commercial law.
Dominika studied at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków and for one year at the Faculty of Law of the University of Vienna as an exchange student. In 2020 she compleded postgraduate studies „Mergers and acquisitions” at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH). She also completed a course in legal German and graduated from German Law School organized by the Jagiellonian University in cooperation with the Ruprecht Karl University of Heidelberg and the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. In 2015, she received the M.A. in law. In her comparative master’s thesis, written under the supervision of Paweł Podrecki, PhD, professor of the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences – INP PAN, Dominika focused on the commercialization of scientific research results in Poland, for which she received an award of the Polish Minister of Science at the XIII competition for the best thesis on intellectual property, organized by the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland. In 2018 Dominika completed her apprenticeship program with the Regional Chamber of Legal Advisors in Warsaw.
