Professor Litwińska-Werner specializes in corporate law, international trade agreements, collaterals (bank guarantees, trusts), securities and privatization. She successfully advises on shaping the content of contractual clauses (e.g. warranties and representations), current corporate issues (e.g. management, supervision and control, managerial accountability, corporate governance, issues of securities, squeeze out) and handling complex disputes of both domestic and cross-border nature (state courts and commercial arbitration). She represents Volkswagen AG in a precedent-setting class action against the company lodged by users of cars with EA189 engines.

Professor Litwińska-Werner earned her doctoral and post-doctoral degree in legal sciences. She started the academic career right after graduation from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Warsaw University, where she now works at the Department of Commercial Law and teaches commercial law to fourth and fifth year full-time students. She is also a lecturer at the Postgraduate School of Corporate Law at Warsaw University and at the Academy of Companies at Warsaw School of Economics. Moreover, she teaches trainee legal advisors and is a frequent speaker at training courses for practitioners, including managerial staff. Prof. Litwińska-Werner published over 100 research papers on commercial law, including a commentary to the Polish Commercial Companies Code. She has been awarded a scholarship by the Max Planck Institute in Hamburg twice. Prof. Litwińska-Werner has been providing a broad range of legal advisory services for several years now. Prior to joining the Rö team, she ran her own law practice and then, she was a consultant at the corporate and labour law department of one of the biggest Polish law firms. Prof. Litwińska-Werner has been a legal consultant at Rö since 2014. Legal 500 EMEA 2018 recommends professor Litwińska-Werner in the area of dispute resolution. In the 20th edition of the Rzeczpospolita Ranking of Law Firms, she received an individual recommendation in the area of Company Law and Commercial Law.
