Dorota is a psychologist with the RöCognition project. She specialises in the subject of authority in relationships, the effects of its use and submission to it, as well as leadership and the exercise of influence. She also works on issues of cooperation, negotiation, conflict resolution and building the position of a leader within an organisation. She supports Rö’s team of lawyers in selecting arguments in case documents, identifying the lines of argument used by the opposing side. Recently, using her scientific knowledge of conflict resolution methods and analysing the perspective of the other side, Dorota helped the parties of a dispute valued at more than PLN 10 million enter mediation and reach a settlement.

Dorota is an associate professor in the Institute of Social Psychology at SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities, where she is the director of the Creative Leadership postgraduate programme on effective and creative team management, as well as a trainer and consultant at Delta Training. As a certified coach and solution-focused therapist, she supports the development of key executive and management staff. Dorota writes popular scientific articles for the monthly Polityka, the daily Gazeta Wyborcza and the portals Onet and WP. She is also the author of scientific articles in Polish and English in the area of social psychology, group dynamics, team management and social capital of teams and organisations. She completed her master’s and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Psychology at SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw, as well as postgraduate programmes in coaching and mentoring, as well as social and political psychology at Stanford University in California.
