First and foremost
Anna specialises in civil and commercial disputes before common courts and in arbitration. She has experience in international investment arbitration and domestic and international commercial arbitration. She has represented Volkswagen AG in a precedent-setting class action case in Poland. She advises a large company leasing commercial space on its day—to-day operations and represents it in disputes. Anna has represented clients in, among other things, construction disputes (including cases related to FIDIC contracts), in complex infrastructure disputes, in cases of unfair competition and in criminal matters. She was a member of the team representing Poland in two investment arbitration proceedings on the basis of ICSID Additional Facility Rules, filed by American investors over a failed project to build a blood plasma fractionation facility and in relation to action by the tax authorities.
Anna is a member of the Warsaw Bar Association, and has been licensed as an advocate since 2017. She graduated in law and the European studies from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, and has been working with Rö since 2018. In 2011-2017 Anna was a member of the dispute resolution teams in the Warsaw offices of two international law firms.
